On May 2024, CortesNYC opened the doors of his new art studio located in Long Island City, NY. He featured new art work in canvas showcasing a refreshing style while maintaining his graffiti and lettering essence in each piece.
Fans, friends and art enthusiasts stopped by to check out Cortes' vibrant pieces. For some, this was their first time seeing graffiti art on canvas and they were captivated by the colors, shapes and composition of the art work.
The studio became a blackbook session for fellow artists that came to show support. Shout outs to Hugo Bravo, Carlos Phoenix, Meres One, Ramiro, Bermeo, Crystal Clarity, Radical Tattos, Smurfy, Jen and all the new artists we met during the LIC Arts Open.
