CortesNYC was part of the Graffiti Hall of Fame artist line up during the 44th edition of the festival. Located in 106th St and Park Ave in Harlem, the GHOF, stands as a celebrated tribute to the world of street art. Since its inception in 1983, this iconic festival has become a cornerstone of the city's vibrant graffiti culture, attracting artists and enthusiasts from around the globe.
Cortes brought his signature spray painting style with a vibrant pallatte and harmonious blends. Throughout the two day event artists were supplied with official blackbooks for the event. It was a special edition for the graffiti community as the location, 106th and park ave, was renamed to "Graffiti Hall of Fame Way" with an official street sign unveiling ceremony.
Cortes signed many books on that day and has taken on the challenge of filling up the GHOF book with a series of freestyles to honor this historic NY moment.
These freestyle blackbook pieces are now available for purchase on the merch site. You can buy this original art cut from the book. This is your chance to own a piece of NYC Graffiti History.
