Now that some pieces have been completed and are fully dry, it's time to varnish the paintings and give them that glossy finish.
For years I've used Dammar varnish and never had any issues except the strong vapors. Recently I researched odorless alternatives and came across Gamvar gloss picture varnish by Gamblin.
I've heard multiple positives reviews about this product including no yellowing over the years. They guarantee crystal clear transparency so that the colors stay pure with aging.
